Tell us your date, start point and the shape of the day — even a vague shape helps. Ten hours covers an ambitious plan: two cities, six stops, or one long unhurried wander. You don't need to commit to an itinerary; that's rather the point.
Driver and details, the night before
You'll typically get your driver's name, photo and plate number on WhatsApp the evening prior. If your plan involves Dubai or long desert stretches, the driver will suggest a sensible start time. Small adjustments are welcome right up to pickup.
Morning pickup
The Kia Carnival arrives around ten minutes early, cooled and stocked with water. Bags, pushchairs and shopping ambitions all fit. From the first door-close, the ten hours are yours to spend however you like.
Unlimited stops, one calm driver
Mosque, Corniche, lunch, Louvre, a detour because someone saw a sign — it all works. The car waits at every stop and the driver quietly re-sequences the day around traffic and your energy. Change your mind as often as you like; that's what you've paid for.
The drive home
You're dropped wherever the day ends — hotel, restaurant, a different emirate entirely. If the evening is going too well, extend by the hour with a word to the driver. Then the car disappears and dinner is your only remaining logistics problem.

Insider tips

If you're doing two cities, go to the far one first. Coming home to Abu Dhabi with the sun setting behind you beats crawling into Dubai's evening traffic.
Leave the last ninety minutes unplanned. The best use of a full-day car is the detour you didn't know you wanted at 16:00.
Use the car as a cloakroom — jackets, laptops, shopping, the abaya you borrowed a photo in. Walk into every stop carrying nothing.
Ask your driver where they eat lunch, not where tourists do. The answer is usually cheaper, faster and better.
Time your return along the Corniche for the last hour of light. It costs nothing and it's the best free view in the city.

Questions, answered

Can we do a Dubai day trip from Abu Dhabi with this?

Yes — it's one of the most common uses. The drive is around seventy-five to ninety minutes each way, which leaves roughly six to seven hours in Dubai itself. Start around 08:00 and the day feels generous rather than rushed.

Is the driver also a guide?

Our drivers are driver-guides — they'll happily suggest routes, viewpoints and where to eat, and give you context as you go. What this product doesn't include is entry tickets or escorted visits inside attractions; that's what our guided tours are for. Think of it as local knowledge on tap, minus the lecture.

What about the driver's lunch and breaks?

Your driver manages breaks around your stops — while you're inside a museum or restaurant, so it never costs you time. You don't need to plan around it or feel awkward about it. A ten-hour day is entirely normal work for a professional chauffeur.

What happens if we go over ten hours?

Extra time is billed by the hour at the rate agreed at booking, and the driver will flag it before you cross the line — no surprises after the fact. If you already suspect the day will run long, tell us upfront and we'll plan for it.

Can you fit child seats and a pushchair?

Yes to both. Tell us the children's ages at booking and the right seats will be fitted before pickup, and the Carnival's boot swallows a full-size pushchair with room left over. Travelling with small children is precisely when a waiting car earns its keep.

Do we need to plan every stop in advance?

No. A rough direction is helpful — 'Dubai, mostly downtown' or 'culture in the morning, beach after lunch' — but the day is deliberately elastic. Some of our best days on record were replanned twice before ten o'clock.
