The rhythm of the trip
Day 1 — Arrival and the Corniche
Airport pickup in the Kia Carnival, hotel check-in, then an easy first evening on the Corniche. Three days gives us just enough slack to let you land properly before the capital starts.
Day 2 — The Grand Mosque and the palace district
The full city day: Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the palace district and the waterfront photo stops, typically starting mid-morning. Mosque dress code applies — covered shoulders and knees, headscarf for women. Your driver-guide paces it so the mosque gets the time it deserves.
Day 2, evening — The desert
Afternoon pickup for dunes, camp, sunset and BBQ dinner, with dune activities run by permitted partner operators. Yes, it makes day two a big one — that is the trade a three-day trip makes, and we say so upfront. Prefer it split differently? That is a one-line change at booking.
Day 3 — Yas Island
A park day on Yas, planned around gate opening. Not a theme-park household? Swap it for the Louvre Abu Dhabi and a slow waterfront afternoon — day three is the most tailorable day of the trip.
Departure — the drop
Checkout and the airport transfer, timed to your flight rather than our convenience. The whole three-day arc is adjustable day by day when you book; this is simply the shape that has worked for the most guests.
Insider tips
- Keep day two's morning light: start the mosque by mid-morning and the crowds and heat both stay manageable.
- Bring a change of clothes for the desert evening — mosque-modest and dune-practical are different outfits, and the Carnival gives you somewhere to switch.
- Book the Louvre swap at proposal stage if you want it; timed entry means same-day availability is never guaranteed.
- Between roughly November and March, pack a layer for the desert camp — the temperature drops faster than first-timers expect.
- If you land early on day one, tell us. A morning arrival can pull the mosque forward and turn day two into something far more relaxed.

What exactly does the package include?
Hotel for the stay, airport transfers, all ground transport in our Kia Carnival, and every activity on your confirmed itinerary — with the desert BBQ dinner part of the safari evening. Flights and entry requirements are excluded. Everything included is itemised on your booking confirmation.
Is the mosque-plus-desert day too much?
It is a full day, and we would rather tell you than have you find out. Most guests manage it happily — the desert is an evening activity, so there is a gap between. If you prefer a gentler shape, we move the desert to day three and Yas becomes the swap.
What standard is the hotel?
Dependable and well-located, named in your proposal before you pay so you can check it yourself. This line is about the days, not the lobby — if you want the hotel to be the event, ask us about upgraded options when you enquire.
Can we change what is on each day?
Yes — the itinerary is tailorable day by day at booking, and day three especially so. On-trip changes depend on availability at timed attractions, so earlier is always better.
Does it work for solo travellers?
Yes. Everything runs identically for one guest; single occupancy affects the price, which your proposal states plainly rather than burying.
How are children priced?
Child rates exist and are confirmed at booking once we know ages, since hotels and attractions each set their own. Car seats for the Carnival are available on request.
