Abu Dhabi, Dubai and the desert in one tight, well-cut itinerary. One booking covers the whole itinerary: hotels, private touring, transfers and the named entries, sequenced so each day builds on the last.

Every package is adjusted to your dates, pace and taste before anything is confirmed. Tell us who is travelling and we will shape it around you.

Multi-day trips live or die on sequencing: which day to spend in the desert, when to see the mosque, where the rest day belongs. That ordering is the craft we sell.

Practicalities, handled: your driver's WhatsApp arrives the evening before with the exact pickup time; the vehicle carries chilled water and chargers; timings flex on the day if a flight, a nap or a whim demands it. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before travel, and you can pay on the day.

The rhythm of the trip

  1. Before you arrive · The route is set

We confirm the running order around your flights and hotels, then assign your driver-guide for the full three days. Your luggage goes in the boot on day one and stays with the vehicle between cities. You never repack for a transfer.

  2. Day 1 · Abu Dhabi in one clean sweep

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque first, typically early, when the marble courtyards are quiet and the light is soft. Then Qasr Al Watan's gilded halls, a Corniche drive, and the Louvre Abu Dhabi or Qasr Al Hosn as your afternoon call. Evening suggestions come from your guide, not a script.

  3. Day 2 · Both Dubais in a day

Morning belongs to the old city: Al Fahidi's wind-tower lanes, an abra across the Creek, then the spice and gold souks. The afternoon jumps a century to Downtown, with pre-booked timed entry to the Burj Khalifa observation decks around golden hour. The fountains do their thing after dark.

  4. Day 3 · The desert finale

A slower morning, then out to the dunes in the afternoon. Our partner operator runs the dune drive; you get sunset from a ridgeline, camels, sandboarding if you fancy it, and a barbecue dinner at camp. It is the right way to close a first UAE trip.

  5. The hand-back

We shape the final hours around your onward flight, with buffers your driver-guide builds in quietly. Drop-off is at your hotel or straight to the airport. Nobody checks a watch over dinner.

Insider tips

  • Do the Grand Mosque first thing on day one — the coach groups typically land mid-morning, and you want the courtyards before they do.
  • Ask us to pre-book the Burj Khalifa slot around sunset the moment your dates confirm; those timed entries go first.
  • Keep a scarf or light modest layer in your day bag — it covers the mosque, over-enthusiastic air conditioning, and desert evenings in one.
  • Carry some cash in small notes for the souks; cards are widely accepted, but cash closes a haggle faster.
  • Between November and March, pack a jumper for the desert — the temperature drops surprisingly fast once the sun goes.

Questions, answered

Is three days really enough to see the UAE?

Enough for both cities' headline sights plus a proper desert evening, yes — but the pace is brisk. If you want the east coast, the mountains or slower mornings, look at the 5- or 7-day versions. Three days is the espresso; it is strong and it works.

Are hotels included, or do we book our own?

Either works. We can build the package around hotels we arrange for you, or plan door to door from rooms you have already booked. Tell us at enquiry stage and the itinerary bends to wherever you sleep.

What should we wear at the Grand Mosque?

Covered shoulders and knees for everyone; women should wear loose clothing and a headscarf. Abayas can be borrowed at the mosque if needed, and non-Muslim visitors are welcome outside prayer times. Your guide times the visit around prayers so you are never caught out.

Can we bring children on this itinerary?

Yes — we fit car seats on request and soften the pace where it helps. The desert camp is family-friendly, though the dune drive has age and health guidance set by our partner operator. Tell us ages when you book and we plan around nap-and-snack reality.

How much driving is involved between the cities?

Abu Dhabi to Dubai is around an hour and a half on a good motorway, and that is the longest single leg. Everything else is short hops with the same driver-guide throughout. The car is comfortable enough that the transfers feel like the rest, not the cost.

Does this work in summer?

It does, with adjustments. From roughly June to September we front-load the mosque early, keep midday indoors at the museums and malls, and push the desert to late afternoon. You move between air-conditioned stops in an air-conditioned car, so the heat is a backdrop rather than an obstacle.
