Day 1, morning — the capital's icons
Pickup typically after breakfast for the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the Corniche and the palace photo stops. Modest dress for the mosque: shoulders and ankles covered, headscarf for women. It is the best first morning the UAE offers.
Day 1, evening — the desert
Afternoon pickup for dunes, camp and the BBQ dinner, with the sand activities run by permitted partner operators. Sunset from a dune crest ends the day properly. Back at the hotel typically by late evening.
Day 2 — Dubai or Yas, your pick
Either the full day trip north to the Burj Khalifa and the Palm, or a Yas Island park day closer to base. With two days you pick one, and we will tell you straight which suits your flight time. The last drop-off is timed around your departure.

I am travelling alone — what changes?

Are the tours private or shared?

Can I change the days around?
Yes. Swap Dubai for Yas, move the desert to the second evening, shuffle the mornings — all fine before arrival, and often on the ground too. Two days is tight, so decide your day-two pick early.
Does this work with children?
It does — family rooms and child seats can be arranged, and children's rates exist for the activities and are confirmed at booking. Tell us ages when you enquire so the desert evening is set up appropriately.
