Your female driver-guide — arranged when you book — collects you in the Kia Carnival and walks the day's route through with you over the first few minutes. Nothing is fixed; the itinerary flexes to what your group actually wants. It is the standard full city tour, rebuilt around your comfort.
09:45 · The Grand Mosque, unhurried
The morning window is typically the coolest and quietest for Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Modest dress applies and abayas can be borrowed on site; your guide handles the entry logistics and knows the courtyards where the photographs actually work. Non-Muslims are welcome outside prayer times.
11:30 · Qasr Al Watan
The working Presidential Palace — white domes, a hall of gifts from visiting heads of state, and a library you will want more time in. Your guide keeps the pace conversational rather than processional.
13:00 · Lunch, your call
Anywhere from Emirati home-style cooking to a waterfront table — you choose, and your guide books the sort of room where a table of women lingering over lunch is entirely at home. There is no clock on this part of the day.

Eight kilometres of waterfront, including a dedicated ladies-and-families section of the public beach if you fancy sand between stops. Bring a swimsuit on the off-chance; plenty of guests are glad they did.

Dates, textiles, perfume and the gold alley at Madinat Zayed, with a guide who knows which counters women shop at comfortably and how the haggling ritual politely works. She waits, carries nothing you do not want carried, and never rushes a decision.

One last photo stop in the day's best light — often back past the mosque as it turns honey-coloured — then drop-off at your hotel. Around eight hours, entirely yours.

Insider tips

Request the female guide as early as you can — it is an on-request arrangement, and a few days' notice makes all the difference.
Do the mosque in the morning: softer light, thinner crowds, cooler stone underfoot.
Pack a swimsuit. The ladies' section of the Corniche beach is one of the city's underrated pleasures and most visitors never learn it exists.
At the gold souk, the price is weight times purity plus a making charge, and the day's gold rate is displayed — knowing that one line changes the whole negotiation.
It is your day. A hammam, a long lunch or a second hour at the souk can replace any sight on the list — just say so at booking or on the morning.

Is the female driver-guide guaranteed?

She is arranged on request and subject to availability, so book a few days ahead rather than the night before. We confirm her before your tour day, not on it — if we cannot, you will know in good time and can decide how to proceed.

Can my husband or sons join us?

This product is designed for women travelling together, and most guests book it for exactly that dynamic. Mixed family groups are very welcome on our standard Abu Dhabi City Tour, which follows the same route.

Is Abu Dhabi safe for women travelling without men?

It is one of the safest cities anywhere, and women travelling alone or in groups are completely unremarkable here. Normal travel awareness applies, as it would in any capital, but you will likely find the city more relaxed than you expected.

What should I wear?

Smart-casual with shoulders and knees covered keeps you comfortable everywhere on the route. At the mosque, modest dress is required and women cover their hair — abayas and scarves can be borrowed on site if you prefer not to bring your own.

Will someone take photos of us — and can we photograph locals?

Your guide is happy to be the group photographer all day, so everyone is finally in the pictures. Always ask before photographing local women, and accept a no gracefully — your guide will read the situation for you.

I'm Muslim — can prayer times be built into the day?

Yes, easily. Tell us at booking and your guide will time the route around prayers, including stops with proper facilities. Tourist visits to the Grand Mosque run outside prayer times, but worshippers are a different matter and we plan accordingly.
