Step-free routing, accessible venues verified that week, and a driver trained to help properly. This is a fully private experience in Abu Dhabi: your own vehicle, your own driver-guide, and an itinerary that flexes on the day.
One price covers the whole vehicle for up to 6 guests — bring the family and the price does not move. Allow about 7 hours. Hotel pickup and drop-off are included.
This is the version of the city you cannot see from a tour bus: rooms, tables and streets chosen by people who live here, sequenced so each stop makes the next one make sense.
Practicalities, handled: your driver's WhatsApp arrives the evening before with the exact pickup time; the vehicle carries chilled water and chargers; timings flex on the day if a flight, a nap or a whim demands it. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before travel, and you can pay on the day.

Your day, stop by stop
Before the day · The pre-check
We confirm every venue in the week of your tour, not the month before — lifts working, ramps clear, accessible toilets open. We also ask about your chair: dimensions, weight, and whether you transfer. The day is planned around facts, not brochures.
09:00 · Pickup, done properly
Your driver-guide is trained in transfer assistance and stows the chair securely in the Carnival. If you prefer to manage yourself, say so and they will stand back. Nothing is assumed.
09:45 · The Grand Mosque, step-free
The visitor route is level, with lifts where needed, and the mosque typically has wheelchairs available on site. The marble is smooth going. Modest dress applies, abayas can be borrowed, and non-Muslim visitors are welcome outside prayer times.
11:30 · The Louvre Abu Dhabi at your own pace
Level access throughout, lifts to every gallery, and the dome plaza was practically made for wheels. One of the most genuinely accessible major museums anywhere.
13:00 · Lunch at a verified table
Booked at a restaurant where we have checked the entrance, the table spacing and the accessible toilet that same week. Not 'should be fine'. Checked.
14:30 · The Corniche, wide and flat
Eight kilometres of smooth, level promenade with sea on one side and skyline on the other. Roll as far as you like — the Carnival shadows the route and collects you whenever.
16:00 · Drop-off, plus the route notes
We share what we verified — which entrances, which lifts, which toilets — so anything you want to revisit independently, you can.
Insider tips
- Book the mosque leg for early morning — cooler air matters more at seated height above sun-warmed marble, and the courtyards are quieter.
- Send a photo of your chair with its dimensions when you book — thirty seconds of your time removes every surprise from the day.
- The Louvre's dome plaza is the best photo stop of the day from a seated eyeline — the dappled light was designed to be looked up at.
- The Corniche is at its best in the last two hours of daylight — sea breeze, low light and the promenade at its calmest.
- Keep your puncture kit or charger in the daypack rather than the boot — the Carnival is never far, but never far is not the same as beside you.
Questions, answered
Can I stay in my wheelchair while the vehicle is moving?
Our house Carnival requires a transfer to a vehicle seat, with the chair stowed — the driver-guide is trained to assist, or to stay out of the way. If you need to remain in your chair in transit, tell us at booking and we will discuss options honestly rather than promise and improvise.
Do you take powered wheelchairs?
Usually, subject to size and weight — the Carnival's boot is large but not infinite. Send dimensions and battery type at booking and we will confirm plainly, yes or no, before anything is charged.
Are the venues genuinely accessible, or brochure-accessible?
That is exactly why we re-verify each venue in the week of your tour — lifts break and layouts change. The Grand Mosque, the Louvre and the Corniche are reliably excellent. Anywhere that fails our check gets swapped, and we tell you why.
Where are the accessible toilets?
At every stop on the route — we never plan a leg longer than the gap between them. Your guide knows the exact locations, not just that they exist. The Corniche also has public facilities at intervals.
Can my carer or family come along?
Of course. There is room in the same vehicle for a carer, a partner or the family, and they are built into the plan rather than treated as an add-on. Tell us numbers at booking and we seat everyone comfortably.
What should I know about the mosque visit specifically?
The visitor route is step-free and the floors are polished marble — smooth rolling, though bright in full sun. Modest dress applies to everyone, seated or standing, and abayas can be borrowed on site. Prayer times close parts of the mosque to visitors, so we schedule around them.
