At the gate
Arrive around fifteen minutes before your slot. The museum sits on Sheikh Zayed Road by Emirates Towers, and a footbridge links it to the Emirates Towers metro station if you are coming by train. Security is quick, your QR is scanned, and staff group you for the lift.
Inside
The visit starts at the top and works down — a themed lift ride delivers you to a space-station floor, then you descend through floors on wellness, the natural world and the technologies supposedly waiting for us. There is a dedicated children's floor for the under-tens. Allow around two to three hours and do not rush the first floor; it is the best of them.

- Take the earliest morning slot you can get. The building is quietest then and the lift queues are shortest.
- Do not skip or talk through the lift ride up — it is part of the show, not transport.

Why do I need to book so far ahead?
Capacity is limited by timed slots and demand is constant. Same-week availability does happen, but it is luck rather than planning. Book as soon as your Dubai dates are fixed and the problem disappears.
How strict is the timed entry?
Reasonably strict. Arrive within your slot and all is well. Arrive long after it and you are relying on goodwill at the desk, which is not a strategy. We confirm your exact time when the ticket is issued.
How long does a visit take?
Around two to three hours covers the floors at a civilised pace. It is an immersive walk-through rather than a glance-and-go observation deck, so do not sandwich it between two tight bookings.
Is it suitable for children?
Yes — there is a floor built specifically for younger children, and the rest of the museum is spectacle enough for most ages. Children's pricing exists and is confirmed at booking.
Is it a traditional museum with artefacts?
No, and it does not pretend to be. It is a set of immersive, staged experiences about where things are heading — closer to walking through a film set than past display cases. Exhibits run in Arabic and English.
What if I need to change or cancel?
Tickets are generally non-refundable once issued, and because slots sell out, changes depend heavily on availability. Tell us as early as you possibly can and we will do what the museum's policy allows.
