DXB to Abu Dhabi (or back) in one comfortable go — flight tracked, no relay taxis. This is a fully private experience in the Emirates, border to border: your own vehicle, your own driver-guide, and an itinerary that flexes on the day.
Your driver tracks the flight, meets you with a name board and waits up to an hour free. The price is fixed when you book — no surge, no meter anxiety.
The point of a good transfer is that nothing about it is memorable: the car is waiting, the driver knows the terminal, and the price was settled when you booked.
Practicalities, handled: your driver's WhatsApp arrives the evening before with the exact pickup time; the vehicle carries chilled water and chargers; timings flex on the day if a flight, a nap or a whim demands it. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before travel, and you can pay on the day.

How it works
Book with your flight number
Tell us the flight, your Abu Dhabi hotel — or the reverse for departures — and the passenger count. One fixed price is confirmed before you fly. DXB has three widely separated terminals, and the flight number tells us exactly which kerb matters.
Tracked from the air
Your flight is monitored from departure, so delays and early arrivals are absorbed without a single message from you. The driver's schedule bends around your aircraft, not the other way round.
The meet at your terminal
Your driver waits past customs at the correct terminal with a name board. Bags are handled from that point. No shuttle to a car park, no relay of taxis, no bus station in the middle of your journey.
One comfortable run south
The drive between DXB and Abu Dhabi is a single motorway leg — typically around 90 minutes kerb to kerb, longer in peak traffic. Cold water on board, seats that recline, and a quick coffee or bathroom stop on request. Sleep is a perfectly acceptable use of the time.
Arrival, either direction
Inbound, we drop you at your hotel door. Outbound, we advise a pickup time built around traffic and your airline's check-in window, so you arrive at DXB unrushed rather than heroic. Either way, the whole journey is one car and one driver.
Insider tips
- Landing at Terminal 3, allow a good half hour from touchdown to the kerb — the walk from some gates is a journey in itself. Your driver knows this and waits accordingly.
- Ask the driver which side the Burj Khalifa will be on as you leave Dubai. The skyline run is the free part of the show.
- If your Abu Dhabi hotel check-in is hours away, an en-route Grand Mosque stop uses the gap well — request it at booking, dress modestly, and note abayas are loanable at the mosque.
- Booking a late-night departure out of DXB? Reserve the car when you book your arrival — one fixed price each way and no 23:00 taxi lottery.
- The seats recline and the driver takes no offence at napping. Arriving asleep is still arriving.
Questions, answered
How long does DXB to Abu Dhabi actually take?
Typically around 90 minutes door to door, though weekday peak hours can stretch it. Late-night runs are often quicker. Your confirmation includes a realistic estimate for your date and time.
Do we cross a border between Dubai and Abu Dhabi?
No — it is a domestic drive between two emirates of the same country. No checkpoints, no passport control, no documents needed for the road itself. Keep your passport handy only because your hotel will want it at check-in.
Can we stop along the way?
A short coffee or bathroom stop is no trouble — just ask the driver. If you want a proper sightseeing pause, such as the Grand Mosque on the way into Abu Dhabi, arrange it at booking so we build in the time. Dress modestly if you plan to go inside the mosque; abayas can be borrowed there.
Which terminal will the driver be at?
Whichever one your flight uses — that is why we ask for the flight number rather than the airline alone. DXB's terminals are far enough apart that guessing wrong costs real time, so we never guess. The driver's exact meeting point comes with your confirmation.
We're a family with young children — what do we need to tell you?
Ages and how many, at booking. We fit proper child seats, and the Carnival has room for the pram, the cases and the emergency snack bag. Two hours is a long time for small passengers, so we are happy to plan a midway leg-stretch.
How early should we leave Abu Dhabi for a DXB departure?
We will recommend a pickup time when you book, based on your flight time and the day's traffic pattern — mornings into Dubai are the slow direction. As a rule we build in margin for the motorway plus your airline's check-in window. Unrushed beats optimistic.
