The rhythm of the trip
Day 1 — Arrival, without ceremony
Airport pickup in the Carnival, hotel check-in, and an evening that belongs to you. If you land with energy, the Corniche at dusk is a good first impression. The whole six-day arc below is tailorable day by day — treat it as our opening offer.
Day 2 — The capital's icons
Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque typically in the morning, then Qasr Al Watan and the presidential quarter. For the mosque, dress modestly — shoulders and knees covered, loose fitting, headscarf for women — and you will sail through entry.
Day 3 — Yas Island, day one of two
Your first full park day — most guests take Ferrari World or Warner Bros. World. Entry is arranged, the Carnival does the doors-to-doors, and you set the pace. Around opening time is the move for the big rides.
Day 4 — The desert evening
A free morning by the pool, then an afternoon run into the dunes. Sunset from the sand, camp dinner, and the adventure elements handled by permitted partner operators. This is the day people remember.
Day 5 — Saadiyat and the Louvre
Louvre Abu Dhabi under the dome in the morning, then Saadiyat's beach side of life in the afternoon. It is the calm day of the week, deliberately placed after the desert. Swap it earlier if culture ranks above rollercoasters for you.
Day 6 — One more swing, then the airport
A second Yas park, revisiting a favourite, or simply a slow morning — your call, decided as late as you like. We time the airport run to your flight with sensible margin. Six days, no wasted ones.
Insider tips
- Split your two Yas days across the week rather than back to back — theme-park legs are real.
- Friday mornings are the quiet window at many attractions; weekends here run Saturday and Sunday, and residents fill the parks then.
- The Louvre rewards a slow two to three hours — do not bolt it onto a park day, which is why we gave it its own morning.
- For the mosque, wear something loose and light in natural fabric; you will be far more comfortable than in borrowed cover-ups.
- If a birthday or anniversary falls inside the six days, say so at booking — small arrangements are easy when we know in advance.

Can we change days once we have arrived?
Within reason, yes. Timed-entry attractions need notice, but swapping a park day for a beach day usually just takes a message the evening before.
